I’ve had a pair of the original mucksters for a few years now and they were amazing , sadly the soles have come to the end of their life.
In my opinion, these new versions are a bit of a downgrade compared to the original design. They are no where near as comfortable and the soles feel much harder, they don’t fit as well around the ankle (too roomy) and the rounded sole at the heel makes them a bit unstable. I’ve only worn them a couple of times so far and I’m not sure I’d want to try walking any kind of longish distance in them. Might have to try and fit a decent insole in them to see how that goes..
They seem well made but have a some design flaws. Bring back the original!

Muck boots very comfortable, went hunting in them walking bush and farmland for 4 days, they performed very well, only draw back was mouth of boot very wide, no ankle support, put on tight neoprene puttys on and taped bottom to boots, it worked had ankle support, rating 8/10. The price could be a bit lower for what they are, cheers

Had to return them as they were nothing like the old style. My last two pair had lasted 20 years. Don’t understand why they changed them.

We are doing a trip to Europe for photography of wildlife including in wetlands and my normal boots are too heavy to take. I purchased muck boots ii as they are very light and don't have a really deep tread so easy to clean and to my surprise really comfortable so very suitable for our trip

The boots seem to meet expectations until I noticed a squeak. I started noticing the noise a few days after purchasing. I was hoping it would subside or go away but it’s been persistent. Seems to be coming from the right heel with every step. Aside from this annoying noise everything else seems ok. Not sure if I just got a odd pair or if it’s consistent loud performance among others who have purchased
